Summary
Summary The ArcView ShapeFile OCX & DLL (vr 2.0.9) was created as a programming tool to easily read or write Arcview Shapefiles for data conversion purposes. It allows you to create, read and alter both the vector/point data and the associated attribute record (without use of Microsofts’ DAO or ADO). Included are a COM DLL & OCX and a .NET (vb.net) version. I'm currently writing a C# version and the draft code is available on request. Also included is a help file that has a number of examples.
