Summary
The purpose of the Batch Clip Button is to allow users an easy way to define an area and clip all data from that area and copy to a directory location. The ‘Batch Clip’ window allows you to define a polygon layer, selected polygons from a layer, or define or use selected graphics drawn on the data frame as your clipping layer. If you use graphics as your clipping layer then the graphic is saved out to an AOI.shp (Area of Interest shapefile). Only visible layers (checkbox checked in Table of Contents) within a data frame are clipped. Statistics are displayed while the clip function runs (clips of large datasets will often take a long time to run).

Batch Clip Updated Jan 9, 2009 - Upgraded to run on ArcMap 9.3
