Summary
Duplicate_Mover moves points with duplicate geometry to scatter them around the original location. This is one method for causing the points to be visible (rather than stacked) in cartographic products.

Developed w/ Python IDLE 2.4.1 and ArcGIS 9.2.

This script may be particularly helpful for output from geocoding. Geocoding can generate points with duplicate geometry when a repetitive address exists in the input table.

The script is available in two versions. It is available as a Python script for use in Python outside of ArcGIS Desktop. It is also available as an ArcToolbox tool. The version for ArcToolbox is accompanied by a readme file, which provides instructions for adding the utility to ArcToolbox.
