Summary
This tool for ArcMap provides a Location Toolbar for United States National Grid. There is an information PDF contained in the download about installation and usage. Based on the NGA Website information at http://earth-info.nga.mil/GandG/coordsys/grids/usng.html . The tool will only work for CONUS (Zones 10-19). This tool is provided as-is and at the end-users own risk. I am willing to look at any comments about the tool. Updates: Version 9.1.0.0 - Original Version 9.1.0.1 - Added Callout and enabled Zoom Tool. Version 9.1.0.2 - Changed Callout Text to reflect FGDC guidance on datum - http://www.fgdc.gov/standards/projects/FGDC-standards-projects/usng Version 9.1.0.3 - Disabled Zoom To Function when Grid entered is less than 9 characters. Version 9.1.0.4 - Extended input to accommodate USNG to Millimetre Accuracy as per FGDC guidance (Tool shows this readout when MapScale is under 1:200) Changed colour of Callout dependent on Datum. Version 9.1.0.6 - Improved validation and verification of input. The Zoom To Tool does not enable unless a valid format is used, verification as to whether the input lies within the USNG Zone is done on clicking the enabled Zoom To Tool.
