Summary
This adds a toolbar to ArcCatalog (9.x) that allows you to automatically filter objects (files, folders, sde layers, etc.) in the contents view window. Whatever you type into the filter text box will change what you see in the contents view on-the-fly. You can change the strength of filter to allow for loose or strict matching. It is very handy when working with an ArcSDE connection that has many layers and you want to quickly find one or more. March 26th-07 - added a timer so that filtering will only occur a half second after you finish typing. Also source code is now included for those of you who asked. If you make any improvements I'd love to know.
