prjFinder

A VBA based tool which helps to identify the coordinate system of your data.

See the documentation for more details. It includes sample scenarios like
• Country based search
• LCC projections in Central Europe
• Projections with partially known names
• Testing a coordinate
• Find a UTM zone


New since 11/05/2007: EPSG_v6_14_GCS_aoi.shp and EPSG_v6_14_PCS_aoi.shp
are derived form the joined tables “Coordinate_Reference_System” and, “area” from the EPSG Geodetic Parameter Dataset.
