Update to ArcGIS 9 of the "Batch Metadata Export Utility" script. The update includes adding the appropriate new library references, running a refresh of the Contents tab, and setting the cursor to a hourglass while running.
SCRIPT PURPOSE: Works in ArcCatalog to batch export the XML metadata for Coverages and/or Shapefiles as HTML, TXT, & SGML files. It places the exported metadata in the same directory as the selected datasets and gives 'em the same name as the dataset but with different extensions. The HTML will be laid out in the same way as the currently selected stylesheet in ArcCatalog.
