Summary
About Spatial Analyst Plus

Spatial Analyst Plus gives menu access to a wide range of Spatial Analyst functions that are normally only available through the Raster Calculator. If you struggle to remember command line syntax like me, you may find this useful. I have also tried to make the Spatial Analyst Help easily accessible through the various menus. Some functions (such as the statistics functions) that appear in the Spatial Analyst menu are duplicated in Spatial Analyst Plus but have been included for consistency

I have borrowed heavily from the ESRI example source code and also found the user forums an invaluable source of help and code snippets - so thanks to all those users.

I have tried to include most of the functions that I use regularly and are not easily accessible in the Raster Calculator. The menus are arrranged in a similar manner to the functional reference.

I have also included a couple of utilities that I tend to use a fair bit.

The application is fairly rough around the edges so if you find any bugs or have any suggestions etc, get in touch and I will see what I can do.



Installation


Unzip the "Spatial_Analyst_Plus.dll" file somewhere on your system.
Start ArcMap and go to the "Tools -> Customise Dialog"
Click the "Add from File" button and select the "Spatial_Analyst_Plus.dll" - this can take a long time to load the first time so be patient - up to a minute on my machine.
A "Spatial Analyst Plus" item will be added to the Toolbars tab.
Check this and click close.
The Spatial Analyst Plus Toolbar should now be visible
