This program presents a user interface with a dropdown list of all point layers in the current DataFrame and calculates the distance between each pair of points in the layer selected. The distance is calculated in three Different ways:
1. Euclidian distance
2. Manhattan distance
3. Reticular distance
The program requires a functional geometric network opened in the current data frame and a point layer used as origin-destination reference. Because the program must calculate reticular distances along the network, itís also imperative to have previously snapped all the points to the layer used as a network. This step must be done before the construction of the network. To resolve this operation, you can download the Snap And Split program in the ArcObject web site.
Note that the program is still running well in 9.x.
The program was developped at l'Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique, Urbanisation Culture et Sociťtť (INRS-UCS). http://www.inrs-ucs.uquebec.ca/
