Finally a good Text Preview window for ArcCatalog 9.2! Read on...
This text preview is easy to register for ArcGIS. For you that aren't interested in the code, simply extract the files that end in .dll and .bat to any location on your hard drive. Then double-click install.bat to register the dll. When you upgrade to a new version of ArcGIS, uninstall this DLL by running Uninstall.bat. That's all! (Well, you do have to make sure that Tools -> Options -> General tab -> Text Files is checked on.)
This Text Preview window uses all of the font settings that you have specified in Notepad. The preview window also pays attention to Notepad's "Word Wrap" setting.
