Creates a shapefile containing rectanglar polygon grid from origin, extent and grid size information. Useful for local coordinate systems (eg British National Grid). Each polygon is given a unique identifier.
This is not a extension, but an Avenue script you can alter to meet your requirements.
To run, load the script into a new script document using "script">"load text file". Compile using "script">"compile". The after selecting the active view choose "script">"run".
