Summary
This extension is meant to save an ArcView project at regular time-intervals. By 2 buttons in the View GUI you can start and stop automatic saving. A dialog will allow you to set the interval in minutes or seconds or a combination of the two.
When you are in edit mode (started editing an attribute table or a theme) this tool might cause problems and even make your apr crash. So stop autosave then and start it afterwards or take a longer time-interval.
First stop autosave before setting a new time-interval!
IMPORTANT: in the dialog you should hit the OK button only 1 time (it may take a while before the dialog closes) otherwise you will set 2 (or more) time-intervals! Sometimes it may be a solution to click OK and then Cancel.
In the statusbar you will see when the project was last saved & what the actual time-interval is !(when no other info was displayed in it meanwhile)
Good luck with autosave!
