Summary
Have you ever wished ArcView would allow you could save more information with your themes. Things like "plain English" names that get automatically placed in the Table of Contents (TOC), detailed theme descriptions and definitions, scale dependencies, path and filenames to saved legends (*.avl), or simply give you the ability to hotlink information (imagery, metadata, etc.) to an entire theme, rather than just to a particular feature within that theme?

If answered yes to any of these questions, then CustomThemes is the answer for you! CustomThemes was developed to simplify the loading, symbolization and classification of themes for end users. Users can quickly and easily load multiple datasets from different directories without having to search through the file system, trying to remember where data is stored and what the (often cryptic) file names are called. Additionally, themes are pre-loaded with all sorts of preset characteristics, all based on your organizations personal preferences. And when your preferences change, a simple change in the database updates those preferences for everyone who uses CustomThemes.
